Beginning the Search

I started this search two years ago. Have made many mistakes and had to start over again. My Father was born Donald Boyd Dozier March1923 in DeQueen Arkansas. His Father was James Ira ( Jack) Dozier and His Mother was Gertie Dennis. His Mother Died when he was young and he lived with other family members. Jack later married a Mildred, she had a daughter Ruth Cloniger. The daughter was my dad's age and they became steadfast friends until the day they died. They both died the same year just a few month's apart. My goal is to be able to write this information down for the next generation. Hopefully one of them will continue the story. I want my information to be accurate and there, has been my problem because what I thought was correct has later been found not to be. My Mother was born Nancy Faye Godbey January 14,1930 in Denison,Texas. She was the daughter of Neal Foster Godbey and Rosa Pearl Rains.Neal was born in Fannin Texas in1903 and Rosa was born in Haskall Oklahoma in 1910. This is the Surnames that I am researching Dozier, Dennis,Jenkins, Godbey Flippo, Lee , Crownover and Rains. I also am researching my husbands family this I will put in a later Post.
